Job description:

JOB DESCRIPTION — This is an in-person role based in Sugar Land, TX, with a willingness to travel to Katy. Telehealth providers will be considered if you hold a license in multiple states (including Texas). However, we are primarily looking for a provider who can be based in or regularly commute to Sugar Land/Katy, TX, 1-3 days per week.

We are looking for a licensed psychiatrist or psych mid-level provider (NP or PA) to assist patients with medication management, as well as talk therapy and education related to mental health.

WHO WE ARE

Nurocoach is a mental health clinic dedicated to helping patients overcome the national shortage of mental health professionals and access the care they need. We focus on helping patients with depression, anxiety, ADHD, and related challenges-- notably, by minimizing reliance on pharmaceutical solutions.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are seeking a contract clinician to see patients, both in person and via telehealth, on a self-selecting schedule—make your own hours! Our clinical team will benefit from seamless technology and a call center of Patient Coordinators who provide technology and financial support —so you can focus on delivering your clinical expertise.

The ideal team member will:

  • Be licensed with the prescribing authority in Texas, and be willing to gain licensure in additional states (at Nurocoach expense)
  • Be passionate about providing best-in-class clinical support to patients struggling with depression, anxiety, and related ailments
  • Have extensive experience with patient intake, development, and management of talk therapy, such as CBT/ACT, in addition to conservative medication management and titration
  • Be very comfortable learning and utilizing technology such as telehealth platforms and EMR software
REQUIREMENTS

  • Must meet education and licensing requirements to practice medication management (via Collaborating Physician)
  • Must verify qualifications to apply for licensure in additional states
  • Must possess strong computer skills and be comfortable with technology
KEY JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Utilize proprietary technology platform to manage a weekly schedule of appointments (providers may self-select their volume of availability)
  • Submit patient notes in a timely manner, assisted by our real-time note-taking in EMR (AdvancedMD)
  • Assist in the ongoing development of corporate intellectual property and clinical content.
SPECIAL BENEFITS

  • Flexible hours and remote working opportunities
  • The ability to practice medicine at a holistic and patient-centered practice; we DO NOT overbook our providers!
  • Ongoing educational and experience opportunities with interventional psychiatry, such as Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and other "alternative," evidence-based methodologies - we are committed to helping de-prescribe America
  • Consulting opportunities for clinical thought leadership
